The Java Internship Program at Arbor Academy is designed for students and aspiring developers who want to build a strong foundation in Java programming through hands-on experience and real-time project work. This internship is an ideal opportunity to gain industry-relevant experience in Java, which remains a dominant language in enterprise application development, Android development, and backend systems.
Participants will learn to write clean, efficient Java code, work on real use cases, and understand how Java is used in modern development environments. This internship is a stepping stone toward becoming a professional Java developer.
The internship begins by solidifying core Java concepts like object-oriented programming (OOP), data types, control statements, classes, and methods. As participants progress, they will work on building Java-based applications and learn about exception handling, file I/O, JDBC (Java Database Connectivity), and collections framework.
Each week includes coding exercises, project assignments, mentor guidance, and performance feedback. Interns will also gain exposure to IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA, which are commonly used in professional Java development. By the end of the internship, learners will have completed multiple mini-projects and one major Java application.
